A Message from the Principal

Dear Parents, Guardians, and Community Members,

I hope that you all had a wonderful week.

Thanks to the ongoing efforts of our students and staff, as well as the support of our families, community, Board of Education, and Central Office, JMS had perhaps its best year in recent memory in 2018-2019, as determined by Connecticut's accountability measures and reported on the state's "Next Generation Report Card".

On the graphs below, please note the blue lines, which show the school's past three years' results in a number of areas:

   - Overall: a collection of measures, including academics, students' attendance, and physical fitness
   - Language Arts growth
   - Language Arts performance
   - Math growth
   - Math performance
   - Physical Fitness Test performance

Our work toward continued improvement continues this year and beyond. Congratulations to the entire JMS learning community!
